Questions & Answers

Are Soccer 101 Academy & Clinics coed?
Yes. Boys and girls of all experience levels ages 5 - 17 are welcome to attend. Players are placed into groups according to age and ability level.

What's the difference between full day clinic and half day clinic?
Half day runs from 9 a.m. until noon. Full day runs until 3 p.m. Ages 5-6 are encouraged to do half day only. Full day players resume instruction after a lunch hour. Small-sided games, passing combinations and more tactics are practiced in the afternoon.

What should I bring?
Players should bring a ball, soccer cleats or sneakers, shin pads, water bottle, sun block, snack and a lunch. (bring lunch if signed up for full day)

Is there a  store?
We do sell  soccer balls for $20 but no other equipment is available.

What happens if it rains during a clinic?
In light rain we will continue playing. However, any sign of lightning we will take cover and wait for the bad weather to pass. Some sites have use of a gym but this is not guaranteed. If weather is too bad we will postpone or cancel. If two days  are missed because of inclement weather we will have a makeup day on Saturday.

Do players need proof of a physical in order to attend?
Yes. Parents must fill out a Medical Record Form and return it to our office 7 days prior to the start of the academy. That form must accompany a proof of immunization records and a Doctor’s physical (school physical) within the last year.
